Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arara studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Arara took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Dean never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. He uses divination through singing.

History: Tricking lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
