Description: He wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. He carries a battered whip and tarnished club as well. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nalral fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with her Interpreter father left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Matilda is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has all her life been fascinated with poetry.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.
History: Marigold lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and to settle down with her crush

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She uses divination through singing.
History: Naivara was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bounty Hunter. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Târz was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Târz decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
