Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Sarah will drive conversation. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. After coming to the age of reason, Sarah took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Cairn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate.
