Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Varis abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tûkâ grew up listening to his father's many stories. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather.
