History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Frouse was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Frouse was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Frouse's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Frouse and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gaaki studied abroad. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Animal Trainer.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
