He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it, and is pretty ugly. She has no fur. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines yellow.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Leaf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the west to a Laborer, Callie learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She's in love; and balancing her hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break

History: Theren was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.
