Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Uthemar embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Uthemar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Brewer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Oloric is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around her ears. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. She tends to her Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Layabout, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Unemployed job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
