History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Dain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Beggar kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Personality: Egelina is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has achieved small success as a Bellfounder.

History: He got into the Masseuse business at a young age. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has achieved small success as a Masseuse.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Masseuse responsibilities is difficult.

Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

History: She was born in the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her religion dominates her actions
