She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born into a rich family. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She tends to her Carpenter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Alain was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Alain's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Alain never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a Servant, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Farmer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest man in the east

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and balancing his hectic life and new architect responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dorn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
