His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A true patriot, Mehen would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Phann was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Phann decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She became a Guard soon after.
