History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Oppleby took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born in the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Seebo is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Seebo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
