When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Nelkin was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 26. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Detective business.

History: He was born in the west. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with her Weaver father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He takes great joy in being the best Weaver in town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Whurbin was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Weaver. He became a Weaver soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Cartwright business.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Unemployed who has hired him part-time. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Theriatis hails from a village terrorized by giants. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Theriatis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
