History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Emmeline's homeland. Emmeline decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Halander grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food.
