Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Nim is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Nim was born the youngest of three triplets. One day when Nim was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Nim was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He's also a talented Cartwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bookbinder. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His childhood dream was to be a Beggar, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He takes great joy in being the best Guard in town.

History: Dayereth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Dayereth was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born in the north. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her music dream.

Personality: Merla hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her singing career. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Merla hails from a village terrorized by drow. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
