Description: A plain young-adult woman, she likes to wear grey tank tops with tan skirt. She has done her best to style her auburn hair to look like a famous performer. She has a tattooed face.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Being a Carpenter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Hillanot is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She was born in the west. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by her family; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After months of barely getting by, Trym managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Baern is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: The child of a Dyer, who enjoyed hunting, Seebo was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
