Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears bulky black painted plate armor. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gold.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cairn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His first spouse was a Cook, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.
History: Hadwisa lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He got into the Brewer business at a young age. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Brewer soon after.
