History: Anselm was born the youngest of three triplets. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Drogo was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dyer. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the west to a Courier, Lamlis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Lamlis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
