Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Sumnes will drive conversation. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sumnes lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Elama was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and she would like to get married and retire

Description: An older woman who has the majority of her body covered in plate, she is not a threatening figure. She keeps her long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. Her violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sumnes was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister
