History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Sarai wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Sarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. She now owns her own business.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Andraste fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Phann was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Phann's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Roofer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded.
