History: Born in the south to a Shipwright, Lerissa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She struck the Shipwright job and began her own company from there.

Description: This man stands a little under 3'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a flail on his belt. His silver hair is cut short. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rimple embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. Rimple enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a Servant, his father struggled to pay the bills. When Rimple reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Rimple and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her brown hair is braided into rings. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kansif was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He got into the Brewer business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He struck the Brewer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Brewer responsibilities is difficult; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural tiefling artifacts is his passion

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Merchant, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
