Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: She is dressed in an above average manner, and she perpetually has her shortbow ready. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are likewise silver. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She takes great joy in being the best Engraver in town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Makaria fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When Ahvain reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears long strands of sapphire and short red dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 65. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Borun was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mara grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her red hair is still thick. Her eyes are white and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Pyra will drive conversation. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: Pyra was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She is greedy; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: An older man who wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants, he is not a threatening figure. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Morkral hails from a village terrorized by giants. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, and is pretty ugly. He wears his brown hair down. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
