When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: Trail hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and to reunite with her old friends

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Tailor. She became a Tailor soon after.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: Gurdis was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Stableman, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
