History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Through the years after Miles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Miles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Vorka abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

History: He was born into a rich family. After coming to the age of reason, Nordak took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nordak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
