Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: She was born in a small island village. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She became a Scribe soon after.

Description: An older woman who wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her lance with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, she is not a threatening figure. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. Her eyes are blue and catlike.
Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She bought a lance and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a red broad hat and red clothes. She has done her best to style her black hair to look like a famous performer. Her eyes are a pleasant gray.
Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants her loneliness to end

Description: She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly shields and monstrous two handed axes. Her hair is cut close to her head. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.
Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Pyra liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Revenge; and she is greedy

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.
History: Vistra lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fletcher for the past few years.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: He is lean but muscular and has the majority of his body covered in plate. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
