History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Matilda's homeland. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His orange fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are copper.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

Description: This western woman usually wears her red robe and has her bastard sword always slung over her shoulder. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her red hair is thinning but still full. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears professional attire. His hair is long and black with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vilberg grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Weaver. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Weaver.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
