History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: This tall, slender woman typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor. Her chestnut hair is singed and shortened. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oriff embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Oriff lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Oriff and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. A true patriot, Great would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Great was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is wearing a long, tan cloak. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A freak accident while working with his Navigator mother left him crippled. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in the west to a Seamstress, Efferil learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Seamstress like his father before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it, and he perpetually has his sickle ready. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Mortician business.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
