History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Jade hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her first spouse was a Beggar, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Zanna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She became a Bookbinder soon after.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Bulzo liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Trail's homeland. Trail decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
