Description: She very much looks the part of a Barrister. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is a Barrister first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anastrianna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has never given up on her writing dream.
