History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He struck the Marshal job and began his own company from there.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
