He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates Gnomes with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Heian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: She wears tattered old clothes. She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Ella never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she dresses in pastel turtlenecks beneath a green coat with black slacks. Her fur, while still mostly yellow, has prominent grey streaks. Her amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. A true patriot, Pelt would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pelt grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pelt. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
