History: Laucian lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valida embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and she is greedy

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears professional attire. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born in the north to a Gardener, Silvo learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Silvo was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Silvo decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He got into the Performer business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

History: He was born in the west. Pelt abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Zedaar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Zedaar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and an old rival family wants him found
