One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is short and golden. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Thiala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nutae grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts
