Description: This woman stands a little under 6'0" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a black costume with the symbols of luck on her torso. She has moderate length dark red hair. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Markosian never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Born in the north to a Sailor, Alice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Mayor, but she was a colossal failure. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
