Description: She prefers to wear white clothing when she does not wear armor. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly halberds and bastard swords. She wears her golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. She wears an eyepatch.
Personality: She is fixated on the number 39. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. A true patriot, Merla would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and expand her business

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, grey shirt, and black tie. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Revenge.

Description: She wears a brown vest and prefers grey and white shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her lavender fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.
History: She was born in a small forest village. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She bought a longsword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
