History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mardred was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
