History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a Ploughman, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ronwe was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Philomena has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Clerebold will drive conversation. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a Layabout, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
