Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Being a Courier kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ribbles isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Doctor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emeny grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emeny. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
