She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Trail grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trail. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
