Personality: Hamil wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hamil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hamil. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Pyntle was born with her mother's beautiful face. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Bowyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bowyer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Recently the stress of being a Bowyer has made it difficult for her to sleep.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Serpent was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She is a Stableman first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Soapmaker profession.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Stableman for the past few years.
