History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with her Sage mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
