History: Helen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Roywyn lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Sun never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
