History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Shadow was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
