Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, River is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Keyleth hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
