History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in flail use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Glim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it.
