His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Halander is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Thea lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
