History: Born in the north to a Locksmith, Nala learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: She got into the Cartwright business at a young age. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

His red hair is cut short. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Bookbinder job and began his own company from there.
