When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Arnold liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Portia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Portia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
