History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed.
