Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat, and is pretty ugly. His tied-back hair is silver. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Korfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Sarah will drive conversation. Sarah enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sarah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sarah. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Quillathe was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her first spouse was a Healer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fisher and was forced into it by her family; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Farmer business.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Farmer for the past few years.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ellyjoybell is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. A freak accident while working with her Stylist father left her crippled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and money/treasure
