History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She tends to her Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Pelt is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Shamil will drive conversation. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was taken from her home at a very young age. After a long history of fighting, Silgre and her spouse have recently divorced.
